WHAT?????

Exactly! That's what I thought when I said to God after hearing someone talk on the subject. I said, "If you want me to speak in tongues Lord, I want to do it - but I don't want to force it, it has to be real." Then these words came into my mind. I spent months wondering if it was from God or if it was something I'd just made up in my head. I really didn't know, it made no sense to me, but then again, would it unless God gave me the understanding of it?

Anyway one day I suddenly thought "look it up." Which is obvious really, but I didn't think about it before. So, I went on the internet and found this out.

SHABBAT - It is the original Hebrew word for our English word Sabbath which means to cease, to end, to rest. It is the most important holy day for Jews. It means to remember and to observe. Remember God and observe his commandments. Or cease what you are doing, end your busyness and take the time to rest and remember your God. (Not something mankind is good at. We always have too much to do and not enough time to do it in, and God becomes less and less important in our lives).

SHARMAH - means 'is there.' One of God's names is Jehovah Sharmah which means Jehovah is there, as in Ezekiel 48:35. And the name Jehovah means, I am (I exsist is how I understand it). So I am is there!

I thought Wow! God is telling me to Rest and remember Him and His commandments because He is there!

He is real. He is there. Rest, remember him and observe his commandments, which Jesus told us are; To love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love your neighbour as yourself, (see Mathew 22:37, Mark 12:30, Luke 10:27. Also Deuteronomy 6:5)

He is there!!

This is how I see my God.

Read for yourself, see what you think.
