ALL THINGS WILL BE COMPLETED

I heard this saying, 'In the fulness of time'

It made me think of the difference between God’s timing and our own. We want things done in our time- when we think it is appropriate. But God ‘s timing wis different.  Why?

I think it's because time is different to an eternal God. Plus, he can see things much clearer than us, and he knows what is coming next.

He has seen and heard much more than we could ever know.

He also has set a plan in motion since Adam and Eve disobeyed him and set our current world in motion.

To Him, we are like young children 'champing at the bit' to grow up and know everything, but without the capacity to understand the consequences of our actions...and we don't like being told to wait! We want to hear, "yes! here it is, enjoy!" But He knows what is and is not good for us. The devil only knows what he wants!

When we decide to build a house, it doesn't just appear. It takes planning and organising, and in the fulness of time, the house is completed.

So it is with God. In the fulness of time, everything will be completed, evil will be overcome, the world made new and then we will enjoy the life he has promised us.

In the meantime, we must be patient in our difficulties, endure the world around us and stand firm in our faith in Jesus.

This is how I understand my God.

Read for yourself, see what you think.

Galatians 4:4 says, 'But when the fulness of time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman......'
