EASY TO SAY, NOT EASY TO DO.

The present Covid panic is not easy to ignore. So, what should we do? I think we should be asking what would Jesus do?

Of course he would be saying, fear not like the world does, but turn to your Father in Heaven who can save and protect you.

This is a prayer I have written and want to share with you all - even if the pandemic is over, as there  will always be something coming up to panic us, all the more so as it gets closer to the end.

Heavenly Father,

I pray today for ourselves and our family and friends.

I thank you Father for your protections from all viruses and plagues as you did in the past for the Jews in Egypt.

Your promises are true and they protect the faithful from harm.

I will rest in the Love of our God through your dear Son, Jesus Christ.

Let your Holy Spirit calm, comfort and guide us through these difficult days.

As Jesus is, so are we who believe.

In Jesus name I pray.

Amen.

One of God’s names is Jehovah Jireh, which means THE LORD WILL PROVIDE - which for me, at the moment, is important.

If I've got it right, He is also known as; Jehovah Ezer - The Lord our helper, El Emet - God of truth, El Sali - God my rock, El Channun - Gracious God, El Hannora - Awesome God, and El Roi - the God who sees me.

He is known by other names too, but they are all printed as a generic 'The Lord' in most bibles.

I don't know about you, but I find this comforting.

This is how I understand my God.

Read for yourself, see what you think.
