Jesus, our shepherd, is the most loving, earnest, bravest shepherd there is.
He actively looks for his sheep – not willing to lose even one, (not even one small sheep like me). He will leave a whole flock of 99 sheep, to look for one that is lost. He is willing, and actually did, give up his life to save his sheep and bring them home.
He is the best shepherd ever!!
If you are saved but you have someone in your family who is lost, call on Jesus and trust him to bring them home. I do this for my family regularly!
By his *Grace, his power and his love, we are saved, not because we are good, (though we should always strive to be), but because he is good!
His Grace is sufficient for us. His power is made perfect in our weakness. So, if you are feeling unworthy and unable - you are – but he isn’t. Jesus is very worthy and very able to accomplish anything through you. (2 Corinthians 12:9).
