PROOF

WHO NEEDS PROOF?

I have been watching a documentary on You Tube about Amenhotep II being the Pharoah of the exodus, and Hatshepsut being the one who pulled Moses out of the river Nile. It was very interesting. I also saw one on Mount Sinai being in Saudi Arabia, which was also very good, but I found myself thinking, “Do I need proof?” Well, personally, no, I don’t. I believe anyway, because I like what Jesus says, and I want what he is offering. Still, it is nice to see and to be able to say to family members who keep saying “where’s the proof? Where’s the archaeological evidence to back it up?” Well, the answer is, it is there. If you put aside your own ideas and prejudices and you keep praying for truth, God will show you.

A lot of archaeology has been found to support the bible, but as I understand it, because the bible is mentioned, it is put under a different category and is not counted as ‘proper’ archaeology. (The devil will put all sorts of obstacles in the way to prevent the truth coming out).

In reality, believers don’t need proof, they believe because they know in their heart that God exists, and that Jesus came out from the Father and into the world. That he was crucified, died and was resurrected to save us from our sin and bring us back to God.

This is our faith and our hope.

Jesus saved us and he is coming back for us!

This is how I understand my God.

Read for yourself, see what you think.
