THE EVIDENCE IS OUT THERE IF YOU LOOK FOR IT 

  There are a lot of people who dismiss the bible as a story written many years ago, with no evidence to back it up. However, I have seen a few videos on YouTube lately that show archaeological evidence for many of the scriptures. For the places and the names of those written about.

   Years ago, before writing was commonplace, people passed historical events on through stories like we see in some tribes and peoples, and rhymes, much as we did in England with our nursery rhymes. Children who could not read, learned, and repeated the rhymes they were taught, and they taught them to their children. I believe one rhyme, called ‘wind the bobbin up,’ was taught to children to show them how to thread the looms in the mills, as not all adults and few children could read at that time.

   But I have seen videos of physical evidence of biblical cities, places, and people’s names from the bible.

I think they are worth looking at. Not that it changes our faith in any way. It’s easy for me to believe it because I already believe in the scriptures. However, it may help some who are doubting or want to know. (I saw one recently about the remains of chariots in the red sea, which was quite interesting. They were covered in coral, but were definitely wheel/chariot shaped).

   I’m not very intellectual, so you need to check it out yourselves to judge. As I said, I already believe it, so it interests me.

I wonder if the evidence is coming out now for a reason. God does things in ways we don’t yet understand. But I trust him.
