If you knew Jesus was coming back tomorrow, what would you do?

This is a question I heard the other day. It made me think. I thought I would probably go and tell everyone I knew to seek the Lord now before it was too late. The person then said, what we should do is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:12-13 ‘Earn what you eat and never tire of doing good.’

But I think I would immediately get my bible and start reading!  And I'd definitely start praying!

As it is we don't know the day or the hour, so we should start looking now because when we see him....its too late!

It might be interesting to make a list of behaviours God is happy with and see how many of them we actually achieve.

I suspect we all fail somewhere, but we can take comfort in the knowledge that where we try and fail or where we fall into subtle traps set by the enemy, we are already forgiven through Jesus on the cross if we ask and believe. (This does not mean we can deliberately sin and expect to get away with it! He knows the difference!!).

So, start thinking about it now, I know I will!
